Telltale Games has released the first teaser for its “Game of Thrones”-inspired title, which has brought on a few fan-favorite characters to reprise their roles.
IGN reports Lena Headey, who plays Cersei Lannister on the show, will narrate the title. Actors Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister), Natalie Dormer (Margaery Tyrell) and Iwan Rheon (Ramsay Snow) will also make appearances in the game. Players will have the option to play as one of five characters from House Forrester.
For those unfamiliar with the Telltale Game, House Forrester are the long-time allies of House Stark, a family that has been split up and lost several members throughout the series.
The “Game of Thrones”-inspired title will consist of six episodes and will be available on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3, PC/Mac, iOS and “additional platforms.”
IGN also introduced the character Gared Tuttle, a squire to Lord Forrester. Check out the description for Gared below:
“Gared was raised on stories of heroism about the likes of Arthur Dayne and Symeon Star-Eyes. Though the son of a pig farmer, he has always aspired to one day become a warrior himself. With the help of his uncle Duncan, who had risen from lowborn origins to become Castellan of Ironrath, Gared found work in Lord Forrester’s stables, rising through the ranks to eventually be named his squire. Gared has served Lord Forrester throughout the long months in King Robb’s army, and is ready to be a warrior in his own right.”
Unfortunately, Telltale has yet to release a launch date for the “Game of Thrones” title, but stated the first episode would be “premiering soon.”
