Why ‘Bachelorette’ Andi Dorfman, Josh Murray Split - ‘They Couldn’t Pretend Anymore’ [REPORT]

"Bachelorette" Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray seemed to be a lovey-dovey couple, but a new report claims that the couple may have been putting on a show for the cameras. According to Radar Online, Murray and Dorfman allegedly got tired of faking their relationship.

"In the end it was more of a business partnership than a relationship," a source told the gossip site.

"Producers were always forcing them to make appearances together and act a certain way and it got old," the source continued. "Going to the premiere together was the last straw. They couldn't pretend anymore."

Murray and Dorfman, who met on "The Bachelorette" last year, got engaged in May during the show's finale. There were reports that they were planning a spring wedding. On Monday, at the premiere of "The Bachelor" with Chris Soules, Dorfman told People magazine that the wedding planning had been put on hold so that she and Murray could "make a little home in Atlanta and figure it out there."

The magazine reported that there didn't seem to be any signs of trouble between the couple. According to E! News, Dorfman and her beau also dodged wedding questions when host Chris Harrison tried to press them for details.

"Once you start planning, there's no stopping. I have to be ready to plan and he has to be ready to taste the food and drink the wine," the reality star responded.

Just a few days after the premiere, on Thursday (Jan. 8), Murray and Dorfman released a joint statement announcing their split.

"After several months of being engaged and working on our relationship, we have decided that it's best for both of us to go our separate ways. We are very sad that it has come to this point, but this is what's best for both of us individually," the statement read. "We will continue to be good friends and have nothing but great things to say about each other and wish each other the best."
