Bravo has finally made a decision regarding the future of "Real Housewives of New Jersey" and will reportedly go ahead with Season 7 despite their main star, Teresa Giudice, being in prison. It was previously rumored that producers were going to stall the upcoming season until the 42-year-gets her freedom back next year.
Bravo will not only go ahead and start working on Season 7, but they are also adding new faces to the cast, according to Radar Online.
"The show will absolutely go on without Teresa," a source told Bravo. "Bravo isn't expected to make it public until the end of February, but filming has been loosely scheduled for late April, early May. No formal dates have been made for filming to begin because producers are still looking for potential new cast members."
A source told the gossip site that the network recruited casting director Christina Caparoula, who worked on the show for Season 5, to find new talent for the upcoming season.
Caparoula reported posted a casting call on Twitter earlier this week, writing, "Casting Season 7 of Real Housewives of New Jersey" and included her email address. She also posted the same message on her Facebook page adding that she wanted "fabulous families of New Jersey" who live the "good life" in one of the state's most affluent towns.
"This is fantastic exposure for anyone involved, as it is an opportunity to showcase their current business or utilize as a platform for future projects," the casting statement continued.
So how will Bravo make room for the newbies? Radar reports that the network plans to get rid of a few familiar faces including Nicole Napolitano and Teresa Aprea.
"They are seriously considering getting rid of some of the new girls," the source said. "It doesn't seem that they worked out."
