Bruce Jenner was one of eight people involved in a fatal car accident in Malibu Saturday afternoon. The former Olympian was photographed at the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and Corral Canyon Road talking with firefighters.
According to CNN, Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department confirmed that one person died in the accident but would not release the victim's identity. It's not clear if Jenner or anyone else was injured. TMZ reports that the 65-year-old "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star was returning from picking up his Polaris UTV when the accident occurred.
An eyewitness told the site that Jenner allegedly rear ended a car causing it to veer into oncoming traffic. The car - supposedly driven by a female - was struck by a Hummer. The driver of the car Jenner allegedly hit died.
Sources close to the famous family told TMZ that Jenner was being chased by paparazzi when the accident happened. The former athlete also told police he was not drinking and offered to take a sobriety test, which he passed.
Jenner has been making headlines lately for his rumored transformation from male to female. According to reports, he plans on discussing his sex change on Season 10 of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" and during an interview with Diane Sawyer. Jenner is also said to be filming a docu-series about his transformation for E!.
