Things are getting messy between "Love & Hip Hop: New York" star Peter Gunz and his two leading ladies. All season Peter has been struggling with who he wants to end up with: Amina, his wife who recently gave birth to a daughter; or Tara, his ex-girlfriend and mother of his two sons.
For obvious reasons, the love-triangle has caused a lot of drama on the VH1 show, but a new report claims that Peter has finally made up his mind about which lady he wants to settle down with.
According to Media Take Out, Peter recently proposed to Tara and the whole thing was caught on camera for the reality show. Sources told the gossip site that he surprised Tara with the proposal by dropping down on one knee and presenting her with a gorgeous diamond ring.
Rumors surfaced last week that Peter was buying an engagement ring when he was spotted at Kay Jewelers. Supposedly, when a worker asked him who the ring was for Peter said he didn't know. At the time, MTO reported that Peter was going to make a decision during the Season 5 reunion.
So, what about his relationship with Amina? Sources told MTO that the "Don't Wanna Be Right" singer dumped Peter and is asking for a divorce. Supposedly, she's finally fed up with her husband running back to his ex-girlfriend.
MTO reports that Amina has no hard feelings toward Peter - we're not sure how she feels about Tara - and is interested in co-parenting with him. In a recent episode of "Love & Hip Hop: New York," Peter took a secret vacation with Tara and their boys. He told Amina that the trip to Barbados was for business but later told her the truth.
Peter's family vacation with Tara almost caused him to miss the birth of his daughter. Following the show, Amina told VladTV that it was hard to watch the episode but insisted she had "moved on."
"I think it should be obvious to everyone that it doesn't feel good to me watching it. I have to say again, as you guys know, we taped the season over the summer. And this happened a while ago," she said.
"You'll see how I really felt at the time. Peter told me what happened out there," Amina continued. "Seeing it in action and everything with my own eyes is different and it's still hurtful. It definitely wasn't nice."
