Several members of the Houston and Brown families have taken to social media to remember the late Whitney Houston and continue to pray that her only child Bobbi Kristina Brown wakes up. Today marks three years since Houston was found dead in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton hotel.
Today also marks 11 days that Brown has been in a coma after being found unresponsive in a bathtub at her Georgia home.
"I miss you MY sister... rip nip... I miss you sis, like crazy!!!!... rip my sister...," Houston's sister-in-law, Tina Brown, posted on Facebook.
Brown's cousin, Jerod Brown, also shared a touching message on his Facebook page and posted a family photo with the words, "I will always love you Auntie Whitney #WakeUpBK," written on it.
"You will never know the last moment you will experience, the last conversation you will have, the last photo you will take. Well this was the last photo we with you auntie and if I would have known that I would've taken a few more lol. In life we forget to take a few more photos, share a few more laughs, shed a few more tears, overcome a few more struggles, mentor a few more people. By chance we are all born, by choice we live, and we are all promised death," he wrote.
"One thing auntie was about was Family. Right or wrong, Family is Family. It was an honor to have known you, to be loved by you, and to be inspired by you. I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU... #WakeUpBK."
On Tuesday, Bobby Brown released a statement slamming reports that the family was planning on removing his 21-year-old daughter from life support so she could die on the date Houston passed.
"We support the candlelight vigil for Bobbi Kristina. The Brown family is amazed by the love and support from all that attended," his attorney Christopher Brown told E! Online. "However, the false reports that continue to appear in print and on the Internet are egregious, false and will be dealt with at an appropriate time. "
"In particular, the false reporting of TMZ, The National Enquirer, The Atlanta Journal Constitution and the U.K.'s Daily Mail citing, police sources, family sources and Bobby Brown himself, will receive my attention. The desire to be first has clouded the judgment of many reporters as they forgo accuracy," he added. "This is a criminal investigation and the integrity of that process requires silence."
On Jan. 31, Brown was found unconscious in her bathtub by her partner Nick Gordon and a friend, Max Lomas. She was rushed to the hospital and currently remains in the intensive care unit in a medically induced coma.
