There's one thing Kris Jenner doesn't want to talk about: her ex-husband Bruce Jenner's rumored transformation from male to female. The 59-year-old Kardashian matriarch gave a short interview to Love magazine - which featured daughter Kim Kardashian in a high-fashion spread - and opened up about her failed marriage with the former Olympic athlete.
"Bruce is great. Bruce is good," she told Love, according to US Weekly. "We're good friends. In life, you realize on some level you're happier living apart than you are together and that's what happened with us. We just grew apart. We weren't getting along like two people in love should be getting along. And it's been kind of amazing, you know?"
Kris was then asked where "did the rumors that [Bruce] is transitioning come from" and the outspoken reality star shut down.
"I'm not even answering that," Kris responded. "It's just dumb."
US previously reported that Bruce was slowly transitioning to a woman because he wanted to give his family time to adjust and accept the changes he was making, but Kris was having a really hard time accepting it.
"Kris is in complete denial about what's going on with Bruce," the source said. "She doesn't talk about it at all and refuses to acknowledge it."
The source also added that the two had discussed Bruce's desire to change genders a few years ago and it was part of the reason they finally decided to divorce.
"He needed to live his life the way he wanted to, so they split," the source told US.
TMZ also reported that the Kardashian momager knew before she married Bruce that he "had issues with his sexual identity." Sources close to the famous family told the site that Bruce first mentioned a gender change to Kris several years ago but she didn't want to go public with the news because she feared it would "hurt the brand."
