When you think of Charles Manson, do you think of hugs and snuggles? The 27-year-old woman who plans to marry Manson told Inside Edition that Manson is "the cutest thing."
Afton Elaine Burton (also known as Star) has been holding out to be Mrs. Charles Manson since she was a teenager. She told Inside Edition in her first television interview that the swastika-tattooed killer and cult leader was adorable when they finally met.
"I just thought he was the cutest thing," Burton told Inside Edition. "He probably asked me 10 times if I wanted to get married."
The on-again-off-again nuptials were postponed when the marriage license expired on Feb. 5 amid reports that Manson was furious that Burton only wanted to marry him so she could make money by showing off his corpse. (For the full story, click here).
Burton claims the wedding is going to happen, despite the groom's life sentence and lack of conjugal visits. "Yes, I am going to marry Charlie Manson!" she told Inside Edition. "I think he's the most handsome man in the world."
Matthew Roberts, Manson's "rediscovered" son, previously told New York Daily News that his 80-year-old father wants to be a father again and is putting together a scheme to smuggle sperm to Burton. (See the video below).
Burton said she talks to Manson on the phone and visits him in Corcoran State Prison twice a week.
"I'm going to stick with him whether or not he's in prison," she said.
