VMA Nominations 2013: Justin Timberlake And Macklemore Score Big (FULL LIST)

MTV has announced the nominees for the 2013 Video Music Awards and with six nominations each, Justin Timberlake and break-out hip-hop duo Macklemore & Ryan Lewis are poised to win big on one of music's biggest nights.

Timberlake's comeback hit "Mirrors" earned him noms for Video of the Year, Best Male Video, Best Pop Video and Best Editing. His cool collab with Jay-Z, "Suit & Tie," also scored nominations for Best Direction and Best Collaboration.

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, who have never taken home a treasured Moonman, earned nominations for three different tunes. The pair's summer anthem, "Can't Hold Us," earned nominations for Best Hip Hop Video, Best Cinematography, Best Direction and Best Editing, while "Same Love," a more serious tune about gay rights, earned a nom for Best Video with a Social Message. Their zany—and most famous—hit "Thrift Shop" is up for Video of the Year.

Also up for Video of the Year, the night's biggest award, are Bruno Mars with "Locked Out of Heaven," Taylor Swift with "I Knew You Were Trouble," and Robin Thicke, T.I. and Pharrell with their racy vid for "Blurred Lines."

Mars is another leader with four nominations including three for "Locked Out of Heaven" and one for his latest single "Treasure," which is up for Best Choreography.

Pink, Robin Thicke, Miley Cyrus and Thirty Seconds to Mars come in behind Bruno with three nominations each.

Pop country cutie Taylor Swift also scored multiple nominations, along with her "Red" tour-mate, Ed Sheeran, who picked up his first ever nom for Best Male Video with his hit "Lego House."
