Kim Kardashian has been careful to stay out of the spotlight since the birth of daughter North West last month, leaving fans everywhere wondering when the reality star will make her post-baby public debut.
According to Us Weekly, Kardashian will show off her new slimmed-down figure for the first time on mom Kris Jenner's new talk show, "Kris."
"She wants to show up like Heidi Klum and have everyone marvel at how fast she lost the weight," a source told the mag, adding that the new mom has already lost 20 of the 50 pounds she gained during her pregnancy.
The big reveal would likely be a major ratings boost for Jenner's show, which has come under fire since it began its summer test run on Fox stations.
"Some people just need to shut up, and she's one of them," the New York Post's Linda Stasi said during an appearance on "Access Hollywood Live." "She has as much a right having a talk show as her dopey daughter with no talent had being a host of the X-Factor," she continued, referring to Khloe Kardashian's former hosting gig.
Stasi also called the show horrible, boring and self-involved.
"I couldn't bear it," she said.
Despite the scathing review, "Kris" was a general ratings success, winning the 3 p.m. timeslot in Los Angeles which also boasts successful talk shows like "Katie," "Steve Harvey," and "Dr. Phil," according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The premiere also made headlines for a sneaky fake reveal of North West.
"I'm definitely living my dream," Jenner told the Washington Post of her show, which she says focuses on lighthearted news and pop culture. "It's absolutely about the viewer. It's not a show about me and my kids."
"Kris" is set to continue test runs with an intended official launch in 2014.
