As fans wait for more information about "Kingdom Heart III" release date news, many are speculating which worlds will be returning to the KH3 franchise title.
There are about 40 different worlds that appear in the "Kingdom Hearts" franchise, most were created from Disney and Final Fantasy inspirations.
For those unfamiliar with the game, which is still in development, below is the synopsis of KH3, according to Best Buy:
Join your favorite Disney characters as they set off for adventure once again in the latest installment in the Kingdom Hearts legacy. Resume your place in this action RPG as you attempt to complete challenging missions with your favorite characters. Because of his firm but misguided belief that light and darkness must always remain in balance, the villainous Master Xehanort has sparked a flame that may turn into the all-out inferno of war against the "tyranny of light". Ask yourself - is equilibrium really worth the price of war?
With rumors of new Disney owned films and franchises appearing in the game, like Marvel, Star Wars and the Princess of the Frog, fans began talking about what worlds they wish to return to the game.
And here it is; another top 5 list of my favorite worlds I wish to see in KH3, in no particular order:
1. The Land of Dragons
This world was first seen in "Kingdom Hearts II," based on the Disney film "Mulan." Mulan is one of my all time favorite Disney princesses because she chose to rise against the odds to protect her father and save China. Mulan has to make an appearance in franchise again.
2. Halloween Town
You really can't go wrong with Halloween Town. It was one favorite Sora costumes in the franchise and Jack Skellington's town was wonderfully animated.
3. Port Royal
The world was developed from "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl." Captain Jack Sparrow anyone?!
4. Agrabah
The Aladdin-based world is home to my second favorite Disney Princess because no one else would dare to have a tiger as a pet.
5. Disney Castle
Disney Castle appeared in "Kingdom Hearts," "Kingdom Hearts II" and "Kingdom Hearts; Recoded, but it was only playable in KH2. It's home to Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy and Daisy Duck, and the castle's courtyard is full of large bushes, many of them carved into the shape of characters from the Mickey Mouse cartoon "The Band Concert". You can't have a Disney based game without the home of the original Disney characters.
NOTE: I'd also add Hercules and his world back in the mix, but I limited myself to five for this article.
