West Indies meets Pakistan on Saturday in their first of two T20 match. It begins at 2 p.m. ET. Watch the live stream HERE.
The West Indies are the reigning T20 World Champions, TheSportsCampus.com reports. West Indies, coming off this month's ODI series loss to Pakistan, can redeem itself by winning the T20 series. Darren Sammy is the captain for the squad again, replacing Dwayne Bravo.
It'll be a slightly different squad for West Indies. Denesh Ramdin and Andre Russell were dropped, and Samuel Badree, Christopher Barnwell and Shannon Gabriel are added, ideally giving the squad a boost on the batting and bowling fronts.
Pakistan won the ODI series against the West Indies, 3-1. The team showed improvement from its first round exit in the Champions Trophy last month and its recent ODI series loss to South Africa. Mohammad Hafeez will captain the Pakistani squad for the two T20 games, taking over for Misbah-ul-Haq. The remainder of the Pakistan team is expected to be identical to the squad fielding in the recent ODI series.
Projected squads:
Pakistan: Mohammad Hafeez (c), Nasir Jamshed, Ahmed Shehzad, Haris Sohail, Umar Akmal (wk), Hammad Azam, Shahid Afridi, Saeed Ajmal, Sohail Tanvir, Wahab Riaz, Mohammad Irfan, Asad Ali, Umar Amin, Zulfiqar Babar, Junaid Khan.
West Indies: Darren Sammy (c), Samuel Badree, Christopher Barnwell, Tino Best, Darren Bravo, Swayne Bravo, Johnson Charles (wk), Shannon Gabriel, Chris Gayle, Kieron Pollard, Sunil Narine, Marlon Samuels, Lendl Simmons.
