A Nebraska man surrendered on Thursday and admitted to stabbing his mother, throwing his 11-month-old half-brother in a dumpster and putting his 5-year-old half-brother in the Elkhorn River.

Roberto Martinez-Marinero, 25, admitted to police that he stabbed and killed his 45-year-old mother, Jesus Ismenia Marinero. Angel Ramirez-Marinero was found buried and bruised, but alive in a dumpster. A body was discovered on Monday that authorities believe is Josue Ramirez-Marinero. A forensic exam will be conducted and the boy's family has been notified, according to ABC News.

Douglas County Attorney Don Kleine said he believes Josue was alive when he was thrown into the river. Kleine also said he believes Josue was killed because he was a witness to his mother's murder, according to ABC News.

Martinez-Marinero faces with two counts of first-degree murder, kidnapping and weapons charges, according to ABC News.

Martinez-Marinero's 24-year-old girlfriend, Gabriela Guevara, has been arrested as an accessory to homicide. According to ABC News, Martinez-Marinero and Guevara will appear in court on Tuesday.
