Warner Bros. is stepping up their marketing game for Zack Snyder's "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice." Their latest creative stunt involves Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor (again) in a faux interview with Wired Magazine. Fictional journalist Ron Troupe talks with Lex about the release of the billionaire mogul's new operating system, Lex/OS, the Royal Penthouse Suite at the Park metropolis Downtown and much more. The most interesting part of the "interview," though, has to be the nods to familiar comic book material.

"Suffice it to say the dangers we've been talking about are very real," Lex said. "And they're not just limited to a couple of alien brawlers able to level tall buildings in a single bout. I'm ready to sit down with whatever task force the government has assembled - in the interest of sharing intelligence and building solutions together. If she...they...ARGUS...the government, whatever you want to call it, has a real interest in fighting for the future, they ought to work with those of us who are already on the front lines."

In the comics, A.R.G.U.S. is the Advanced Research Group United Support headed by Amanda Waller (Viola Davis), who will be making her DC Extended Universe debut in next year's "Suicide Squad." It's more than likely that Waller is the "she" Lex is referring to. A.R.G.U.S. primarily deals with major threats of a...unique nature, something that super powered aliens definitely qualify as.

Beyond the shady government agencies Lex might be linking up with, a graphic in the interview shows LexCorps' primary corporate rivals in Wayne Enterprises and Queen Industries. The latter is owned by billionaire Oliver Queen, who doubles as the Green Arrow. Stephen Amell portrays the character on the CW's "Arrow," but who's to say WB won't create a movie version of the character? They're doing just that with the Flash/Barry Allen, after all. Or perhaps this is just a bit of fan service that winks to the larger DCEU that comic book fans can appreciate.

"Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" opens on March 25, 2016. "Suicide Squad" will follow on Aug. 5.
