Former NFL wide receiver Justin Blackmon was arrested on Saturday for his second DUI in three years, according to TMZ Sports. The 25-year-old former wide receiver was the fifth pick in the 2012 NFL Draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Blackmon was arrested in Carter County, Okla., and has been suspended since 2013 from the NFL for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy, according to Zac Jackson of Pro Football Talk. The former collegiate star wide out pleaded no contest to a marijuana possession charge last year. "I don't anticipate (Blackmon) will have any problems. He's going back to training and hopefully looks forward to reinstatement," said Blackmon's lawyer, Robert Gray, following the 2014 charge, via the Florida Times Union.

Prior to this season many wondered if the talented receiver would ever make a return to the league. Back in August the general manager for the Jacksonville Jaguars, David Caldwell, said that it was unlikely that Blackmon will ever play in the NFL again.

"I have not heard anything and I guess I harbor a little bit of hope, but realistically I think when you're away from the game for two and a half years, what you were once is not what you probably will be," said Caldwell, via ESPN. "I don't know what to expect, but I would say common sense would probably be if you haven't played football in two and half years, apparently that's not a priority for you."

NFL evaluators were high on Blackmon out of Oklahoma State, as he had recorded 3,564 yards with 40 touchdowns in three years with the Cowboys. He was unlikely to return to the league prior to this arrest, but now it is almost certain the former fifth pick in the 2012 draft was a bust for a team that has continued to struggled to contend for many years.
