The tragic story of Anna Angel, a Ohio woman who lost her five children and fiancé in a mobile home fire, inspired rappers Drake and The Game to step up and raise funds for the Tiffin, Oh. mother, Hollywood Life reports.

On Sept. 15, a fire spread quickly through Angel's mobile home, destroying it within minutes and killing her fiancé, four daughters and one son: Timothy Fresch, 25; Tiara Angel, 6; Stormie Huey, 5; Trinity Huey, 4; Sunshine Huey, 3; and Domonic Fresch, 2. Although firefighters were able to get the victims out, it was too late, as they were all pronounced dead at the hospital.

"She had a whole family and now she has nothing," Anna Angel's cousin, Owanna Ortiz, told Yahoo! News. "[The children] were always happy and full of sunshine. The older ones looked out for the younger ones."

Oritz said at the time of the fire, Angel was working her shift at Burger King, and her manager informed her of the tragedy. The fire not only devastated Angel, but her neighbors, who had tried to help rescue the family in the midst of the blaze.

"I knew there were babies in there," Nancy Williams, who manages and is a resident of the Highland Park Estates mobile home park, said to Yahoo! News. "But once [my son and I] got there, there was nothing we could do. It was fully engulfed in flames and we couldn't get in."

Other neighbors expressed their grief over the loss of Angel's family, praising her as always being a good mother to her kids.

News of the tragedy hit close to home for The Game, who posted a photo of Angel and her family on his Instagram on Sept. 17, along with a message explaining the situation and how he and Drake were intent on doing something to help the mother of five.

"Between me & DRAKE on behalf of @TheRobinHoodProject we split a $20,000 donation both donating 10k apiece as well as @51minds (Marrying The Game producers) choppin in with $2,500 so that Ms. Angel can afford the funeral costs for her 5 children & boyfriend as well as a point A to B vehicle," Game wrote on his Instagram. Drake also posted the same photo of the family along with a similar message to his fans, as he and The Game worked with The Robin Hood Project to help wire money to Anna Angel.

In total, the rappers raised $22,500 for Anna Angel.
