It's been quite the year for the Duggars. A lot has happened since Josh Duggar, the eldest son in the family, revealed last May that he was involved in an underage molestation scandal. While there have been some happy moments between engagements, weddings and babies, Josh's scandal really took a toll on the family. First, their hit show "19 Kids and Counting" was cancelled, and then Josh was involved in an Ashley Madison cheating scandal that ended up with him in a faith-based rehab center.

While the family has been open about their disappointment over Josh's scandals, they've been trying hard to move on and make things right. Even though they might have forgiven him for what he did, it's hard to tell if they'll ever gain his trust back, but they are trying to repair their relationships with him while he finishes out his time in rehab.

"I definitely have forgiven Josh," his sister Jessa, who was one of the five girls he molested at a young age, told People. "It is a process, though, that you have to work through in your heart. And trust is not quickly rebuilt. It is something that takes a while. We love him very much, though, and we are very hopeful for the future."

Even Jessa's husband Ben Seewald has admitted that he's trying to help Josh. "I love Josh and I want the best for him," Seewald said. "There are a lot of people who have been hurt in this situation. I want to look for ways to help heal the situation for Josh and for Anna and their kids especially."

His other sister, Joy, also said something similar to Jessa, adding, "I have forgiven him and I feel that, but the trust is not there."

It seems as though the Duggars have changed their attitude on the scandals, as their reactions weren't nearly as positive last August.

"We are all shocked and broken and furious," one family member said at the time. "Who is this person? This is supposed to be a happy time, and there is a dark cloud over our family. Josh's integrity is gone. It's scary. You never know who can have a double life. You really think you know someone. Josh was caught with his hands in the cookie jar. And I hope he gets broken in rehab and gets the help he needs."
