Austin "Chumlee" Russell, a regular on the History channel's popular reality show "Pawn Stars," was released from the Clark County Detention Center on Thursday.

Russell was taken into custody a day ago after police found drugs and illegal weapons at his Las Vegas home during a police raid conducted in connection with a sexual assault incident.

"During the course of the search warrant service, several illegal items including methamphetamine, marijuana and firearms were located," Hadfield said on Wednesday. "At this time, Russell has not been charged with sexual assault and the investigation is ongoing."

Although Russell was not booked on sexual assault charges, he is facing 19 drug-possession charges in addition to one weapons-related charge and was released on a bail of $62,000.

Russell's lawyer, David Chesnoff, said that he has every intention of fighting the weapon and drug charges as well as any other charges that might be added during the course of the sexual assault investigation, stemming from allegations made by an unidentified woman.

Chesnoff added that he's "looking forward to the truthful conclusion" of the case filed against his client.

Records show that the reality star has no priors in Clark County except for a few minor traffic offences. However, if convicted, he could serve some major jail time, according to Nevada-based criminal attorney Joel Mann.

"Chumlee has been charged with 19 charges of drug possession and each charge could earn him 1-4 years if served consecutively," Mann said. If Mann's words are anything to go by, Russell could be looking at a maximum sentence of 76 years! Although Mann mentioned that it's highly unlikely for Russell to spend seven decades behind bars, he did say that things are not looking too good for the 33-year-old.

"Depending on how much drugs he had in his possession it could mean significant jail time," Mann explained.

"It is unusual that he has 19 drug charges. Typically you have maybe three or four counts of drug possession," he added. "Usually it is different types of drugs that you get the different types of possession. I am not sure how he got charged with 19 counts of drug possession. That does seem unusual to me."

Russell's next court date has been scheduled for May 23.
