The beginnings of a China-US misunderstanding have Washington and allies doubling down on their hegemonistic agenda by presenting Beijing as the boogeyman. Beijing told the west to stop making imaginary enemies and smearing China in what they see as competition on the world stage.

China Says West Is Pushing False Claims

Directors of the FBI and M15 unjustly charged Beijing with industrial espionage without proof. The Chinese Foreign Ministry slammed FBI Director Christopher Wray and MI5 Director Ken McCallum for lies on the accusation of stealing technology and a national security threat, reported RT.

In a joint press conference last Wednesday in London, both officials told businesses that Chinese hackers are stealing western technology with an organized hacking program, based on media reports, noted Azerbaycan 24.

McCallum said that the Chinese government exerts pressure and presents the most challenging task to the US and UK.

The MI5, like the FBI, is now undertaking seven times as many China-related probes as it was in 2018. The M15 chief warned hostile activities are occurring in Britain as he speaks. But Beijing called out what he said as lies and no support for Washington and its allies.

West Must Stop False Allegations Against China

On Thursday, Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian spoke to the media. He accused Wray of trying to smear and verbally attack China as a result of the so-called Chinese threat.

He called the United States the worst element pursuing its self-centered motives as it has created uncertainty for world peace, stability, and development.

Washington stops acting unhinged and must stop lying to further a hegemonistic agenda and uncalled-for remarks, citing Alarabiya News.

Zhao stated that the M15 and M16, the UK's foremost intelligence units, both excel at placing spies. It is their disgrace to get projected onto China via these lies peddle through.

Zhao stressed the UK security boss should give up inventing enemies to justify its often-questioned self-motivated actions.

The west made the People's Republic of China a fall guy because it needed an excuse to justify its actions. Chinese officials are tired of getting tagged as carrying out cybercrime and industrial espionage.

Chinese technology businesses are accused of acquiring data on Western customers ending in Washington black-listing hundreds of these corporations, also accused of cyber-attacks on intellectual property theft situations, both unproven and unverified.

Chinese authorities are wary of foreign firms doing their spying in China as Tesla cars are not allowed in a Chinese Communist Party resort town due to security.

Among the charges and counterclaims, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken will meet with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi this week at the G20 meeting in Bali, Indonesia.

According to US officials, Blinken accused China last week of attempting to undermine the rules-based international order and pressure Wang by restricting an expanding partnership with Russia that the US fears.

Beijing will not condemn Russia in the ongoing Ukraine conflict or back the sanctions of the Biden administration. A failed US leadership is losing grip that wants to back China into a corner. The so-called Chinese threat is bad for Washington, and allies trying to hedge its hegemonistic agenda are backfiring as sanctions on Russia fail.
