'Nae Nae' Dance: Texas Police Officer Dances With Children While Searching For Suspect (VIDEO)

Ennis, Texas Police Department Sgt. Alan Eddins recently did the “Nae Nae” dance with some neighborhood kids in which he proved that even cops can have a good time.

“I guess all EPD ain't bad look at officer Eddins out with the kids doing the nae nae,” mom Shanitra Robinson wrote on Facebook.

Eddins came across the children when he was carrying out a search warrant for a suspect.

"I just stopped to chat with them and see what's going on," Eddins told Texas television station WFAA-TV. "They invited me to come out and do that (dance) and I reluctantly agreed."

The group grooved to Atlanta native Silento’s hit song called “Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)." In addition to police officers, the track has risen in popularity on the Internet influencing everyone from mothers, and fathers to daughters, according to The San Jose Mercury News.
