Who is Kate Upton dating? The bikini model's romantic life seems to be a hot topic but the 22-year-old rarely ever opens up about who she is linked to. "Extra" caught up with Upton at the 10th Annual Style Awards where she was named Model of the Year.
Upton stunned in a black cocktail dress and decided to set the record straight about whether she was dating "Dancing with the Stars" pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy.
"We're just friends," she said simply.
The model also said she was honored to receive the Style Award and wasn't expecting to get the honor.
"It was so unexpected and I really enjoy what I do. I get to work with these amazing people and these amazing photographers, it's unreal."
Back in July, Chmerkovskiy also responded to the dating rumors. When he was asked whether he was romantically tied to Upton by "Extra" he said "What? We go way back."
The two are playing coy about their romantic lives but they were spotted at a New York City movie premiere recently and Chmerkovskiy also took the blonde bombshell to his a family wedding/anniversary party.
"The duo were guests at an all-white party held by his Godmother, Jana Volynets and his daughter, Nicole Volynets," a source told the New York Post.
After the family gathering the rumored couple went to a party at Goldbar in Little Italy.
During an interview with Elle magazine the "Sports Illustrated" model opened up about her dating life saying that she wasn't in a serious relationship and was "just having fun."
"I really have never had a serious relationship in the industry," Upton said. "I'm just having fun. Obviously I have a very busy schedule at this time in my life, and I don't put relationships as a priority."
