Abby Lee Miller, the tough but passionate dance instructor from "Dance Moms," has launched a new app to teach aspiring dancers how to become dancing stars. The star of the hit Lifetime reality series teamed up with her students to create "Abby Lee Miller Dance Secrets," an app that aims to bring the expertise of the Abby Lee Dance Company to smartphone screens around the world.
"So many people think of me as a character on TV, but first and foremost, my passion is teaching dance and creating employable working dancers," Miller said in a press release. "I'm excited to share my teaching just the way kids learn in my studios! I am going to also bring some of my star students along for fun videos, demonstrations, and more to help show how fun and rewarding it can be to learn to dance."
The "Dance Secrets" app gives fans insider access into the world of dance through the eyes of Miller and her students. Features include new ALDC content posted weekly, makeup and hair advice from Maddie Ziegler, fun dance routines to learn and dance along to, dance bag essentials, bloopers and pranks from the show, and downloadable wallpaper.
The service also features the extra special "Fan of the Week" section, which gives fans the opportunity to interact with the girls. Some "Fan of the Week" prizes include a chance to receive a phone call and/or a social media posting from Miller or her famous students Maddie, Mackenzie, Kendall, or Kalani.
The "Abby Lee Miller Dance Secrets" app is priced at $4.99. To purchase and download on iTunes, click here.
