Grace Jones wore nothing but body paint as she whirled a hula hoop around at an Afropunk concert in New York City on Friday, according to The Daily Mail.
The 67-year-old singer and songwriter showed that she could still rock it on stage.
And as every performer should be, the celebrity was amped even before she stepped on the Brooklyn stage at the borough's Barry Park, according to Afro Punk Fest.
There is reason to believe that something she took before her appearance caused her to act with extra energy.
“I shouldn’t have taken that s--t before getting on stage... but I’m a creature of habit so I’ll do it again!” she said, according to Jezebel. “I can’t even remember my name after that [s—t]! I’m sorry I’m swearing, there kids here… but that would mean I’m gonna stop.”
Nonetheless, the vocalist gave attendees a new track that wasn’t quite finished, but was still good.
“I have a new track I want to perform just for you,” she said. I haven’t finished it enough to release it but I finished it enough to perform it.”
