The summer finale of "Suits" airs tomorrow and Pearson, Specter—and even Darby—have a problem on their hands.
According to an interview Sarah Rafferty—who plays Donna— did with Entertainment Weekly, fans may get sucked into a “warm fuzziness” of security and then be left gaping at their TV screens.
“I can tell you there are some surprising, warm moments,” she told the magazine, “but just when you’re sinking into that great feeling of warm fuzziness, you’re kind of slammed with a bit of a revelation that you’re going to have to wait to find out [more] about in the winter premiere.”
So what will the cliffhanger be?
Will Rachel (Meghan Markle) be left mid sentence in telling Mike (Patrick J. Adams) her law school decision? Will Scottie (Abigail Spencer) do something so ridiculous that Harvey (Gabriel Macht) will be left both personally and professionally devastated? Will Louis get another cat? The possibilities are endless.
Although Darby (Conleth Hill) is at odds with both Harvey and Jessica (Gina Torres), they may have to join forces to battle the bigger problem—Ava Hessington (Michelle Fairley).
Something tells me the cliffhanger will have to do with Ava. She could do something that critically hampers both firms.
”For better or worse, everyone has to come together and deal with that,” said Rafferty.
Finally, for you Donna fans, her meeting with Stephen Huntley (Max Beelsey) in prison ends up being good for her. “You get a chance to see Donna have a little bit of closure,” explained Rafferty.
In the promo below its fairly obvious everyone’s on edge. Will they be able to withstand the recent swarm of unfortunate events?
The summer finale of “Suits” airs Tuesday, 10/9c on USA.
