A second video showing the shooting of Gilbert Flores is being investigated, and this shows a "very clear view" of Flores with his hands raised in the air, District Attorney Nico LaHood said, according to USA Today. As HNGN reported, the first video of the shooting went public Tuesday, cellphone footage of what appeared to be Flores raising his hands skywards before being fatally shot by two sheriff's deputies in Bexar County, Texas.

The officers are Greg Vasquez and Robert Sanchez, both of whom have served more than 10 years on the force. They are both on administrative leave during the current Flores investigation. The Bexar County Sheriff's Office has said that Flores was armed with a knife and resisting arrest when the indicent took place. Neither of the two officers were wearing a body camera.

The second video has not been released, but it is in possession of investigating officers. It is being treated as a piece of evidence. Neither video shows the full confrontation, according to The Inquisitr. The officers interacted with Flores for about 20 minutes in total, during which time they tried to subdue him more than once.

"It's important to let the investigation go through its course so that we can assure a thorough and complete review of all that occurred," Sheriff Susan Pamerleau said.

In this second video, Flores is seen with "something in this hand," Pamerleau said, according to WYFF4.

The Texas department of Public Safety wll enlarge and slow down the video in order to get a better look. Meanwhile, the FBI is pursuring a federal civil rights investiation to discover if a violation took place, and if excessive force was used.
