UPDATE 3:44 p.m.: Police have recovered video evidence of the shooting of Lt. Joe Gliniewicz, a lead investigator revealed Thursday, according to ABC News.
A homeowner came forward with the video from a home security system and says it shows three people near the scene of Tuesday's incident. It was handed over to the Department of Homeland Security, since local authorities lack the specialized equipment to extract it from a hard drive.
Results about the video are expected by the end of the day.

The manhunt for the three suspects linked to the fatal shooting of Police Lt. Charles Joseph Gliniewicz hit a snag when a Vernon Hills, Ill., woman allegedly lied to authorities late Wednesday about spotting two of the three men in a cornfield.
According to a statement from the Lake County Sheriff's Office, Kristin B. Kiefer, 30, told police at about 9:20 p.m. that she was traveling northbound on Route 12 in north suburban Volo when she was forced to pull over to the side of the road due to car troubles, reported the Chicago Tribune. Upon stopping, she claimed to have spotted two men near a cornfield who tried to enter her car but fled when they thought she was calling the cops.
Authorities immediately responded and established a perimeter around the area, as 85 federal, state and local law enforcement officers began searching the area. Eleven canine units and three helicopters were also called in to aid in the search.
However, after five hours of searching, the canine units were unable to pick up a scent and helicopters were unable to locate anyone in the area, according to ABC News.
At first she maintained her story, but she soon came clean and admitted to fabricating the account because "she wanted attention from a family where she was employed as a nanny," the sheriff's office said.
"Additionally, she indicated she chose this location to fabricate the event, as she was aware of the death of a police officer in the area," the press release states.
Due to her actions, according to USA Today, Kiefer was charged with disorderly conduct and falsifying a police report. She is currently in jail pending a bond hearing.
