Joan Rivers Remembered: 'Fashion Police' Airs Tribute On Anniversary Of Her Death (VIDEO)

Melissa Rivers paid tribute to her late mother Joan Rivers on the one-year anniversary of her death by looking back at some of her funniest moments on her hit E! fashion critique series "Fashion Police," Us Weekly reported. She honored her mother and remembered her through her work as the show's host.

"Not only did I never know what was going to come out of my mother's mouth, neither did the stars who were brave enough to sit in the hot seat," Melissa said as she introduced a series of clips from her mother's most outrageous outbursts on the show.

The clip featured moments like the time that Kardashian-Jenner matriarch Kris Jenner smeared cake on Joan's face, when Sarah Silverman guessed the punch line of Joan's rape joke, and the words of comfort Joan had for Busy Phillips when Angelina Jolie stole her look.

"Wait, wait, let's just be happy that the only thing that b---- took from you was the dress," Joan said, referencing Jolie's man-stealing ways.

There was even the time when Joan was upstaged by Miss Piggy, who had her own comeback jab for the comedienne when Joan asked Miss Piggy how she felt when she attended football games.

"Is this gonna turn into a pig joke," the fashionable "Muppet" star said, "because I did not come in here armed with a bunch of dinosaur jokes."

The show even paid homage to Joan's favorite word and collected a reel of the best moments of Joan using the term that is usually associated with felines.
