Ellen Page and her girlfriend made their first red carpet appearance as a couple at the premiere of her upcoming movie "Freeheld" at the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival at the Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto, Canada on Sunday.
"I'm in love," Page said with a big smile, according to E!. "Walking down the carpet holding my girlfriend's hand is pretty special. It's pretty awesome."
The couple looked great in matching tuxedo outfits, holding hands and posing for pictures together. Page donned a simple black jacket and matching skinny tie whereas Thomas went for a vest and a ruffled shirt.
Page stars in "Freeheld" alongside Julianne Moore as a real-life lesbian couple fighting for domestic partner benefits, according to People.
Page's close friend Ruby Rose shared a picture with the couple on Instagram. "When you're not sure if you're a YSL Campaign or really stylish waiters," Rose joked.
The "Orange Is The New Black" star posted another picture on the photo-sharing platform with the sweet caption: "When your best friend is the most talented, funny, beautiful, generous, humble human being it's hard to not smile until it hurts," she wrote. "Ellen, I am so proud of you and will always be grateful for everything you are and will always be to me."
