Nick Prugo, Ex-'Bling Ring’ Member, Charged With Stalking, Solicitation of Rape

Nicholas Prugo, member of Hollywood's infamous "Bling Ring", has been charged with stalking and soliciting a rape, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office said Tuesday.

Another man, Edward Feinstein, has also been charged in the case, according to The Wrap.

Prugo and Feinstein have been charged with scheming to harass West Hollywood skincare specialist Dawn DaLuise and her two daughters. DaLuise has also accused him of framing her for a murder plot of rival salon owner, reported The Cut. Police also say the two posted an ad on Craigslist with DaLuise's name and address, soliciting men to rape her.

If convicted, Prugo, whose sentence will be heavier due to a prior conviction, faces up to 14 years in state prison, while Feinstein faces up to seven years in county jail.

In 2008, a string of robberies shook Hollywood that left high-profile celebrities like Lindsay Lohan, Orlando Bloom and Paris Hilton devoid of some of their cash, art, jewelry and clothes. In the end, the crew was caught after netting nearly $3 million, and Prugo was exposed as the group's mastermind, according to the Liberty Voice.

Prugo was sentenced to two years in state prison following the "Bling Ring" incident, but was released on probation a year later.
