Eugene Bostick Dog Train: Texas Man Builds Train For Rescue Dogs, Takes Them On Rides Around Town

A man from Texas has built a train in his farm that he uses to cart around town dogs that have been abandoned and left to die by their owners on his land.

Eugene Bostick, an 80-year-old retiree and welder from Fort Worth, created the train out of unused plastic barrels that have holes in them, placed the wheels underneath and tied them together, according to Gawker.

Bostick has been caring for his animals in his home with his brother Corky since the '40s, Mandatory reported.

"People sometimes come by and dump dogs out here, leaving them to starve. So, we started feeding them, letting them in, taking them to the vet to get them spayed and neutered. We made a place for them to live," he said.

Bostick also stressed that he is doing this simply because he loves the dogs and he only wants them to be happy.

"I'm getting up in age. I'm 80 now, so I suppose it can't last too much longer, but I'll keep it going as long as I can," Bostick said, according to The Dodo.
