Apple has released iOS 9.0.2, a second minor software update, in order to address security flaws in its OS X and iOS operating systems.
This can very well be a response to a video posted by a user named Jose Rodriguez, who demonstrated how someone could access photos and videos in an iPhone without entering a passcode. Rodriguez did so after discovering the bug that makes use of Siri's voice commands in order to bypass the passcode, according to The Register.
The update also includes improvements for iCloud Backup, iMessage activation, Apple's Podcasts app and issues with cellular data usage, according to 9 to 5 Mac.
The move follows two weeks after the iOS 9's launch and just a week after the first update, iOS 9.0.1, Mac Rumors reported.
Apple has also released Safari 9, which came with fixes for its WebKit browser engine vulnerabilities, as well as a bug in Safari Safe Browsing that would allow a potentially dangerous IP address to go unnoticed, The Register reported.
You can obtain the updates for Safari 9 via the Mac App store, and you can simply go to settings and click on software update to upgrade your iPhone to iOS 9.0.2.
Seeing the update releases suggests that Apple targeting small scale updates for its latest OS in order to address more specific issues.
