Mike Huckabee Racist Tweets: Republican Presidential Candidate Tweets Questionably During Democratic Debate

Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee posted a myriad of live tweets about the Democratic presidential debate on Tuesday evening, and it started a social media firestorm.

During the ongoing debate, Huckabee didn't hold back as he launched several direct tirades at Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, who had been embroiled in a controversy surrounding her emails in recent months.

However, his tweet about racism in America left a lot of people scratching their heads in confusion. "Racism exists because we have a sin problem in America, not a skin problem," he tweeted.

But the racism didn't stop there, as minutes later he followed it up with another racist rant while taking a shot at another Democratic presidential candidate, Sen. Bernie Sanders.

"I trust [Bernie Sanders] with my tax dollars like I trust a North Korean chef with my labrador!" he wrote.

This isn't the first time that Huckabee had made some unusual and notorious comments. Back in February, Huckabee controversially remarked that being gay is "similar to making lifestyle choices such as drinking alcohol or swearing," HNGN previously reported.

Other controversial remarks made by Huckabee include calling American hip hop artist Jay-Z as Beyoncé's pimp and that U.S. President Barack Obama only pretends to be a Christian.
