Khloe Kardashian has rushed to be by Lamar Odom's side just hours after he was found unconscious in a brothel in Nevada, E! News confirmed. The 31-year-old reality star, who wed Odom in 2009 but separated in 2013, is said to be "completely inconsolable and heartbroken" following news that her ex-husband and former NBA star is fighting for his life.
Members of the Kardashian clan, including Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner, have also rushed to be by Odom's bedside. Rob Kardashian and Scott Disick are also making plans to fly to Las Vegas, Us Weekly reported.
The reality star reportedly "cut off contact" from Odom during the summer, but she revealed that she had been "worried about Lamar for a very long time."
The 35-year-old former basketball player was taken to a Las Vegas hospital by ambulance Tuesday afternoon after a woman found him found unresponsive in his VIP suite at the Dennis Hof's Love Ranch South in Pahrump, Nev., as previously reported by HNGN. Odom's unfortunate incident comes after he spent days partying - no word if drugs or alcohol were involved, E! News reported.
Love Ranch South owner Dennis Hof told NBC News that Odom checked in Saturday and was found in his room alone at about 3:30 p.m.
"We called 911, and the 911 told my staff what to do: turn him over on his left side," Hof said. "There was this terrible foaming stuff coming out of him. He was throwing up, a little bit of blood. It's a real shock. It's terrible that our business is being disrupted. Here's a guy who just wanted to have a good time and be private, and it's tragic."
Odom was reportedly taking herbal Viagra during his stay at the ranch, but it is unclear if this had anything to do with his condition, according to E! News. Hof said that the woman who found Odom began screaming for the manager. After calling 911, operators instructed the staff to roll him onto his side, and they found a "mucus-type liquid coming out of his nose and mouth."
The Nye County Sheriff's Department report revealed that Odom "was stabilized and transported to Desert View Hospital arriving at 4:16 p.m.," according to E! News. The report added that the 6-foot-10 athlete was not airlifted to a second hospital "due to his stature."
Odom has not yet regained consciousness, but a source told E! News that he is currently in critical condition.
