Lamar Odom is receiving tremendous amount of support and love following news that he was hospitalized and is critical condition after being found unconscious in a brothel in Nevada. The 35-year-old former basketball player was taken to a Las Vegas hospital by ambulance Tuesday afternoon after a woman found him unresponsive in his VIP suite at the Dennis Hof's Love Ranch South in Pahrump, Nev., as previously reported by HNGN.
After news broke about Odom's incident, celebrity friends and fellow basketball players posted prayers and well wishes to their friend and colleague on social media.
Rob Kardashian broke social media to send a prayer for the former basketball star, who still remains in critical condition. The 28-year-old reality star posted a throwback photo of him and Odom hugging, with the caption, "Praying nonstop for my brother!!"
Although Kendall Jenner did not mention Odom by name, her recent post is reportedly targeted towards Odom's current situation, as she wrote on her Twitter account, "Please Don't go." Momager Kris Jenner posted a throwback picture of Odom playing basketball with the Los Angeles Lakers, with the caption, "Please pray for Lamar #ourfighter."
Dwyane Wade, who was Odom's former teammate while playing for the Miami Heat, sent positive wishes to his friend.
"PRAYERS all the way UP for my brother Lamar Odom!!! I can't help but to be up right now... THINKING about my ex-teammate/ friend LO.. On my knees praying...please God let him pull thru. I couldn't sleep last night, sitting and thinking about LO as the person I know him as and thinking about what he has gone thru in his life."
Wade added, "Everyone will ask why or say how could he do this or that. If you're not walking in life thru his eyes you will never know what it's like. I pray this morning for my brother. Dear God he's one of the good ones. PLEASE watch over him and listen to his heart speak #PrayersForLamar."
Wade's wife, Gabrielle Union, re-tweeted his comments on her own account.
“I have been praying all morning for my good friend and Laker great, Lamar Odom, that God will bless him to pull through,” basketball legend Magic Johnson wrote about Odom’s character. "What most people don't realize about Lamar Odom is that he's a better person than he is a basketball player. Every year Lamar Odom was with the Lakers, he would buy the rookies their first 2-3 custom suits, that's what type of guy he is.”
