As the Duggar family continues to grow, and tries to move past everything they've been through so far this year, TLC will be allowing them back on their network so we can continue to follow them as they live their fascinating lives.
Last month, HNGN made the announcement that Jill and Jessa Duggar would be getting their own series to allow fans to see how the two sisters are living their lives following their brother Josh's molestation scandal. As two of the five victims, it'll be interesting to see as they venture off into their own personal lives and experience all these new and exciting things.
"After some challenging months Jill Dillard and Jessa Seewald are ready to look towards the future," the site reads. "'Jill & Jessa: Counting On' follows the lives of the sisters as they navigate adulthood and the changes that come with it. From Jill & Derick making a major move to Central America with their baby boy Israel, to newlyweds Jessa and Ben preparing for their first child, we're excited to see what's in store for the young couples."
The series will be a three-part special event and is a spin-off of some sort of the family's former hit reality show "19 Kids and Counting," according to Entertainment Weekly. In the first look at the series, the two girls reflected back on the incident that changed their family forever.
"The whole world was shocked," Jill said. "You're angry and hurt and all those emotions mixed together."
As hurt as they may be, and as many tears as they may have cried, they've really done their best at keeping positive attitudes and moving on from this life-changing event. "We're excited for what the future holds," Jill continued to say. "We will come out of this fire stronger as a family unit."
"Definitely with all the difficulties that my family has walked through, there's still a lot of exciting milestones ahead," Jessa, who is pregnant with her first child, added. "Ben [Seewald] and I are very excited to welcome our first little one into the world very soon."
Jessa's baby is due on Nov. 1, and Jill and her husband Derick Dillard have moved to Central America to complete mission work. With so much in their lives to look forward to, the show is guaranteed to be an exciting journey.
"Counting On" is set to premiere sometime in December.
