Sri Lanka won the first Test at Galle by six runs. The hosts are now eyeing a victory in Colombo for a clean sweep in the series.
Spinner Rangana Herath's extraordinary 10-wicket haul helped the hosts crush the West Indies in the series opener last week.
"Galle was where I started my career. There is something [at Galle] for me and all spinners. I wish I can reach the 300 mark in this series," said Herath after the match, according to News International.
West Indies skipper Jason Holder blamed his team's sloppy fielding for the embarrassing defeat. "We created chances with the ball, but we just didn't take them when they came," he said, according to Barbados Today.
"If we had, their first innings total would have looked a lot different. If we had new batsmen in at crucial stages when our fast bowlers were fresh, we would have had a chance to have a good burst at them," Holder lamented.
