Agents of Shield Episode 3 Preview: [WATCH] Skye is On her Own; Can She Be Trusted?

When we last left Skye (Chloe Bennett) she was a rookie with no combat experience and no idea what she’s doing in the field. This week it seems she’ll take a bigger role—a much bigger role.

In the promo which you can view below (fast forward to the end), Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg) and his team are going up against a foe that they may not see coming. Literally. As in you physically can’t see them.

According to Coulson, the attacker’s are “invisible.”

If Skye was hoping to take it easy her first couple weeks on the job, she can forget about it. As the voiceover guys says in the promo “the fate of the world is in the hands of one rookie.”

Although, Skye is going to get some much needed training, her preparedness for the field is still a major question. You know what else is a question? Skye’s commitment to this team.

At the end of last week’s episode, “0-8-4”, Skye received a text from the Rising Tide to which she replied, “I’m in.” This raises even more questions:

What are her intentions for Coulson’s team?

Does she plan to stop there or is she going after the rest of S.H.I.E.L.D.?

Is she really a novice in the field or is she a true martial arts master?

Will this affect her possible love story with Grant (Brent Dalton)?

Fans will continue to watch and be skeptical of Coulson’s latest team member.

“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” airs Tuesday at 8/7c on ABC.
