There's a new rumor that One Direction's Louis Tomlinson wants to quit the band for a "more normal life." According to Hollywood Life, a source told Metro newspaper that the 21-year-old singer is tired of the spotlight, the constant hounding by paparazzi and being chased by fans.
He reportedly wants to trade in the fame for a quieter life with his girlfriend Eleanor Calder.
"He's desperate for a more normal life where he can just take his girlfriend out without worrying some nutter is going to claw her eyes out," the source said. "He can see a life after One Direction and that's increasingly appealing to him."
Tomlinson recently vented on Twitter about the constant attention, which ultimately started a Twitter war with band mate Harry Styles' best friend DJ Nick Grimshaw.
"It's a beautiful day and we can't leave the hotel #papsaretwats," he tweeted.
One Direction is currently in Australia for their "This Is Us" tour and the singer was upset the group couldn't leave their hotel without getting swarmed. According to Sugar Scape, Grimshaw addressed Tomlinson's tweet on his morning radio show calling the singer a "complainy pop star."
The "Best Song Ever" singer responded by tweeting "@grimmers < c@hrisjmoyles [another British radio presenter]."
The DJ took a jab at Tomlinson tweeting "Ooh Stacey go out the wrong side of bed this morning." He also included the nail painting Emoji.
Harry Styles, Niall Horan and Liam Payne stayed silent about the Twitter feud but Zayn Malik jumped to Tomlinson's defense tweeting "Don't know why people always have to get brave? Mind your own businessJ. @Louis Tomlinson love ya bro."
Just as quickly as the feud started, it ended. Neither Tomlinson nor Grimshaw posted anything about the war of words. Tomlinson did head back to his social media account to announce the group's new single "The Story of My Life."
