American Pharoah's stud fee tops the fees for Coolmore America's Ashford Stud with an advertised fee of $200,000 per live foal for the 3-year-old Triple Crown and Breeder's Cup winner, according to the Bleacher Report. The racehorse stands to make $40 million during his first year as a stud.
ESPN's Darren Rovell shared the full list of stud fees from Ashford Stud, showing American Pharoah head and shoulders above the rest. However, he is still behind frontrunner Tapit, who commands $300,000 for his stud services and has been the leader for a while now.
