Warner Bros and DC Entertainment announced at New York Comic 2013 that a mobile version of "Batman: Arkham Origins" will be released for the Android and iOS.
According to DroidGamers.com, there is no specific date for the release yet, but it could become available after the console version launch of the game on Oct. 25. If you download the app for your mobile device, you will be able to unlock additional new suits for Batman for both the app and the console game.
"Since you can link up the console version of Batman: Arkham Origins with the mobile one, if you already have certain suits unlocked in the console version then you'll have them available already in the mobile edition," DroidGamers.com reports. "This also works in the opposite direction as well. There will be a huge amount of content in this game and as for the controls, there will be plenty of customizable options available to make playing 'Batman: Arkham Origins' easier on mobile."
Downloading the app won't mean dropping more case; the "Batman: Arkham Origins" will be free-to-play when it is released. The mobile version of the upcoming game will be available for the iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch, and Android products.
The mobile version of the highly anticipated game was developed by NetherRealm Studios, which also created the mobile version of "Injustice: Gods Among Us" and "Arkham City Lockdown." According to Gamespot.com, the app will give you the same "stunning graphics" and "quality gameplay" you would want from a console game.
"The mobile game goes hand-in-hand with what is offered on the other platforms," NetherRealm Studios creative director Ed Boon told Gamespot.com.
Warner Bros and DC Entertainment are also working on "Arkham Origins Blackgate" for the PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS.
"Batman: Arkham Origins" launches for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U, and PC on Oct. 25.
