There have been a lot of divorce rumors going around about Johnny Depp and Amber Heard ever since they got married earlier this year, but she tries not to let them faze her and wants everyone to know that she and her husband are just fine.
"I try not to react to the horrible misrepresentation of our lives, but it is strange, and hard," she told Marie Claire for its December issue.
Heard, 29, and Depp, 52, met on the set of the 2011 movie "The Rum Diary" when Depp was still with his longtime girlfriend Vanessa Paradis, according to People. Depp and Paradis split the next year, and he and Heard were engaged in January 2014 only to get married a year later.
The couple have been fighting back against the split rumors for months now. "They've always been together," an insider told E! News in September. "They travel for work then come home. They live together and are very much in love, despite what's being said about the rumors."
With this marriage, Heard quickly become a stepmom to his and Paradis' two children Lily-Rose, 16, and Jack, 13, and she couldn't be happier to play this role in their lives. "[It's] an honor and the greatest, most surprising gift I have ever received in my life," Heard continued to tell the magazine. "New colors that I didn't know existed have been added to my life. I'm so happy."
Heard stuns on the cover of the December issue, which hits newsstands Nov. 17, in a red blazer with nothing underneath. Within the magazine, she's wearing a very similar look, looking absolutely flawless in navy high-waisted sho briefs, a blazer, sparkly heels and nothing else. "You don't know the real #AmberHeard," Marie Claire captioned the cover photo on Instagram "But you're about to."
