Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will be home for Christmas. The "Sisters" stars will co-host the holiday-themed episode of "Saturday Night Live" on Dec. 19.
The Boss aka Bruce Springsteen will join them as the night's musical guest, his third appearance and first on the NBC sketch show since 2002. Fey has returned to "SNL" to host solo three times since departing in 2006 and Poehler, who left in 2008, hosted for the first and only time in 2010.
Fey and Poehler hosted their third and final Golden Globes Awards earlier this year. Their new film, "Sisters" opens the weekend of their hosting gig and against the much anticipated revival of the "Star Wars" franchise, a topic that will likely be incorporated into their monologue or sketches.
"Saturday Night Live" will also welcome Ryan Gosling and Chris Hemsworth to host in December. Gosling will enter Studio 8H on Dec. 5 with musical guest, Leon Bridges, and Hemsworth will follow the next week on Dec. 12 with Chance the Rapper providing the musical entertainment.
This week, Matthew McConaughey will host alongside musical guest, Adele.
"Saturday Night Live" airs at 11:30 p.m. on NBC.
