Lindsay Lohan is back in the news and for once, it's not about her off screen woes. Lohan got back to work on Tuesday, filming her new movie, "The Shadow Within."
The 29-year-old actress snapped a couple selfies from the set wearing a bright shade of red lipstick. "The Shadow Within" is Lohan's first movie role since 2013's "The Canyons."
Her last onscreen credit came in April 2014 when she guest starred on CBS’s “2 Broke Girls.” Later that year she made her stage debut in London’s West End production of the David Mamet play, “Speed-the-Plow.”
The “Mean Girls” star recently made headlines dressing up as murder victim Sharon Tate on Charles Manson’s birthday and, not to be outdone by Kanye West, announced her own candidacy for president in 2020.
Back in May, she announced in a cheeky Instagram post that she had completed her community service sentence. The same month, Lohan got off probation for the first time in eight years.
“The Shadow Within” does not have a premiere date set.
