Jonas Brothers Break-Up Drama and Rumors: Joe Jonas Suggests WHAT Alternative Career Path For Himself?

In the midst of all of the latest Jonas Brothers drama, from the band cancelling their fall tour last minute to the mysterious deletion of their official Twitter account, Joe Jonas recently spoke to People magazine about another Hollywood career path he'd potentially like to pursue.

"I think acting would be fun," said the star while attending the inaugural gala for the new Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts Gala in Beverly Hills. "I would like to [get into that]." On the subject of his social life, he added, "I don't really go out that much in L.A. - a bit more in New York. I'm not really sure what I'm in for, but I'm very excited."

While at the gala, looking dapper in a classic black tuxedo, Joe ran into his ex-girlfriend Camilla Belle, and the two were photographed together having a chat for about 15 minutes.

Despite getting talkative with Belle, the middle Jonas remain tight-lipped about the alleged "rift in the band" that supposedly prompted their break-up, though rumors have been circulating on everything from Kevin's wife Danielle causing problems to Joe's reported drug addiction as the "real" reasons as to why the band parted ways so soon and so suddenly, their latest studio album, "V," still yet to be released.

Other reports suggest that the rift may indeed be due to creative differences over the band's name, image and sound, including the style of their music. Nick Jonas, the key songwriter of the group, wrote and produced most of the music for "V," and according to E! News sources, apparently Joe wanted a more rock sound while Nick was pushing for a more "jazzy feel" as a callback to their oldest albums. The conflict over the tracks led to the band taking longer than expected to release the album, not even having it out in time prior to their summer tour.

The band was also allegedly considered dropping the name "Brothers" and simply going by "Jonas."

As for the rumors of Joe's drug habits, the star and his brother Kevin were recently spotted meeting up with addiction specialist Mike Bayer at the Chateau Marmont on Tuesday (Oct. 15) in West Hollywood, Calif. When TMZ questioned Kevin about the meetup at LAX, he allegedly responded, "You'll find out."
