Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith have been dodging divorce rumors for years, but the "Fresh Prince of Bel Air" star said there is no end to their strong marriage in sight.
When asked what the secret to his long marriage at the premiere of his new film,
Concussion," Smith told Entertainment Tonight that "at the end of the day it's just not quitting."
"You can't expect it to be easy," the Oscar-nominee added, "it's like our marriage was the most difficult, grueling, excruciating thing that we have ever taken on in our lives. And you know we're just not quitters."
Smith said that there was no secret to a happy marriage, but the key was that the couple never "went into working on our relationship."
"We only ever worked on ourselves individually," he explained. "And then presented ourselves to one another better than we were previously."
Back in August after months of divorce rumors, Smith took to his official Facebook account to set the record straight on his marriage.
"So, in the interest of redundant, repetitious, over & over-again-ness... Jada and I are...NOT GETTING A DIVORCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!" he declared.

Smith and Pinkett Smith got married in 1997 after about two years of dating. They share two children, Jaden, 17, and Willow, 15. Smith also has a son from a previous relationship, Trey, 23, according to Us weekly.
