It has been two years since "Fast and Furious" star Paul Walker was tragically killed in a car crash. On the anniversary of his death, his former co-stars Vin Diesel and Tyrese Gibson both honored the late actor on social media.
"No matter where you are in this universe... You will always be, my brother," Diesel posted to his Facebook account, while he posted a picture of the two of them to Instagram. "Brotherhood has no limits" text on the picture read.
"It's still not easy," Gibson captioned an Instagram photo of him and Walker. "2 years ago today... We lost our brother..... Today I'm just gonna lay low and process..... Clarity through Prayers and perspective is what I always seek and pray for. Please continue to pray for the Walker family and his real friends who was with him every single day," said Gibson. "They're some of the best and strongest people I know."
To Walker he said, "I know you're in heaven smiling and rooting for us all."
The two year anniversary of Walker's death came after his family filed wrongful death lawsuit against Porsche, the brand of vehicle he was driving when he was killed, according to Entertainment Weekly. Walker's 16-year-old daughter filed suit earlier this month and his father did the same thing last week.
The German car manufacturer spoke out against the wrongful death lawsuit and blamed the actor for his own death after the 2005 Carrera GT he was riding as a passenger in crashed and burned, as HNGN previously reported.
"PCNA [Porsche Cars North America] alleges that Mr. Walker knowingly and voluntarily assumed all risk, perils and danger in respect to the use of the subject 2005 Carrera GT," the company said. "The perils, risk and danger were open and obvious and known to him, and he chose to conduct himself in a manner so as to expose himself to such perils, dangers and risks, thus assuming all the risks involved in using the vehicle."
Walker was 40-years-old when he died.
