Kaley Cuoco isn't going to let a divorce stop her from having the best birthday of her life. The "Big Bang Theory" actress celebrated her 30th birthday this past weekend by going to an animal sanctuary run by the Black Jaguar White Tiger Foundation with 12 of her best friends, according to People. She posted several photos of herself interacting with the Instagram famous animals and even described the weekend as "the trip of a lifetime."
The one Instagram post that stood out the most, though, was a shot of Cuoco looking out over a gorgeous view. "Today was the best birthday I have ever had," she wrote. "Thank you for all the love and best wishes. My heart is overwhelmed with joy and complete contentment. There have been a few bumps along the way, but thank you God, nothing I can't handle. Thank you to my precious little angels who accompanied me on this trip and gifted me with something so special."
She then thanked those at the animal sanctuary who showed them around and introduced them to all of the animals. "How you have saved these animals from abusive, confined lives and now they are living a life they never could have dreamed of...you are the reason this planet will change. #30isgonanrock."
Cuoco and tennis pro Ryan Sweeting filed for divorce in September after just 21 months of marriage, as HNGN previously reported. Apparently, he had become addicted to painkillers and there was only so much she could do to support him during this personal struggle.
Just last month, Cuoco got the tattoo on her back, which was their wedding date in Roman numerals, covered as it was a constant reminder of her failed marriage. "Note to self-do not mark your body with any future wedding dates," she wrote at the time. "#Under30mistakes #donttakeyourselftooseriouslykids."
