The sequel to the record-breaking film "Baahubali" is all set to go on floor next week from Dec. 15. The shooting will take place at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad.
Director SS Rajamouli has been working on the project for five years and has reportedly shot more than 40 percent of the sequel with the first part, according to Telugu Mirchi.
Rajamouli, who is currently busy with pre-production of the movie, reportedly made some changes in the sequel's script.
"Baahubali 2," or "Baahubali: The Conclusion," is the second and final instalment of the "Baahubali" series, following last year's "Baahubali: The Beginning." The fantasy war drama became the first Indian film to gross more than Rs 500 crores.
The epic fantasy drama features Rana Daggubati, Prabhas, Tamannaah Bhatia, Anushka Shetty, Ramya Krishnan and Sathyaraj in important roles, as HNGN previously reported.
Indian fans have been eagerly waiting for the sequel. The shooting is expected to be wrapped up by August next year. It is expected to hit the theatres in early 2017. However, the film's creators have not yet announced an official release date.
The movie, which minted over Rs 600 crores, was recently featured in Facebook 2015 World Review, according to Gulte. It got fourth place in Facebook's most searched keyword for the year 2015. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, late President APJ Abdul Kalam, and E-commerce got the first three positions in the top 10.
