"Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag" Abstergo Entertainment is loaded with Easter Eggs and one will both excite and upset you for obvious reasons.
(Warning: the rest of this article contains some Ubisoft-related spoilers.)
As an Abstergo employee you will have access t a lot of goodies. When you first arrive to your new gig as a Memory Researcher for the Templars, to your right you will see a photo of Aveline from "Assassin's Creed: Liberation."
Seeing Aveline sent off the Easter Egg red flags for Polygon, as the tech site created a video showing fans how to find the ultimate hidden content: a connection between Ubisoft's delayed "Watch Dogs."
The two games kind of go hand-in-hand. The AC series depicts hackers fighting a war against the corrupt world and "Watch Dog" is a story about vigilantes who hack fight corruption in a specific city.
It also didn't help the AC game director Ashraf Ismail teased a connection between the games during E3. However, he probably didn't for see the game delay that would infuriate customers and lose the company millions, but I digress.
Back to your burning question: where is the Easter Egg? (MAJOR SPOILER AHEAD)
"While hacking computers in the Abstergo offices, you can find a brochure for the Blume Corporation, the company responsible for Watch Dog's ctOS security system and protocol, along with comments from Abstergo personnel about Blume and ctOS," Polygon reports.
Before you get your hopes up, this does not confirm "Watch Dogs" will tie into the "Assassin's Creed" series or vice versa. Ubisoft likes to play coy with their fans, and this is surely another tease. Until the company confirms a real connection, I would take this detail with a grain of salt.
