Carly Rae Jepsen is set to make her small-screen debut with her re-recorded version of the theme song for the '90s sitcom "Full House" for the show's upcoming Netflix reboot "Fuller House." The pop star behind the infectious 2012 hit "Call Me Maybe" tweeted about her involvement with the series in a tweet Wednesday evening.
"Butch Walker and I re-did the theme song for @FullerHouse together and I can't wait for you to hear it! Check it out on Netflix Feb. 26th!!" the 30-year-old pop star announced on Twitter.
The "I Really Like You" singer worked with songwriter and producer Butch Walker on the remade version of "Everywhere You Look," which was sung originally by Jesse Frederick, according to Billboard. The theme song has yet to be released, but a teaser for the show featured Miranda Lambert's 2009 hit "The House That Built Me."
This isn't Jepsen's first time re-recording past hits. She recently released her version of the '80s group Wham's original Christmas hit "Last Christmas," E! News reported. She's also gearing up for her acting debut in Fox's upcoming broadcast of "Grease: Live," where she will take on the role of Pink Lady Frenchy. The musical is set for a Jan. 30 premiere.
